Standing at 206 centimetres tall, Osayi Osifo was born on 6 April 2000 in Vereeniging, South Africa, and developed his basketball career in the United States. In the NCAA, he initially played for the Florida Gators before spending two seasons with the Jacksonville Dolphins.

He turned professional in 2024. During the 2024/25 and 2025/26 seasons, he was a member of the San Antonio Spurs’ G League affiliate, the Austin Spurs. During the 2024/25 season, he also gained experience in the Canadian CEBL, where he represented the Calgary Surge in eight games.

In the 2025/26 season, Osifo appeared in 28 games for the Austin Spurs in the NBA G League, averaging 6.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game. He finished the season in Egypt, where he joined Al Ahly of Cairo. In the Basketball Africa League, he averaged 7.1 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists over nine games. His outstanding defensive performances also earned him a spot on the competition’s All-Defensive Second Team.

Osifo also spent the summer of 2026 in the United States, competing in the NBA Summer League. Wearing the Denver Nuggets jersey, he appeared in five games, averaging 10.1 minutes, 6.8 points and 3.0 rebounds per game.
