Miljan Goljović left a mark in Slovenian and European basketball during his playing career, wearing the jerseys of many renowned clubs, including Serbian Partizan and Turkish Ülker, with which he also played in the EuroLeague. In the 2001/02 and 2002/03 seasons, he played a total of 39 EuroLeague games, averaging 9.2 points per game. Before moving to Turkey, Goljović wore the jersey of Pivovarna Laško between 1997 and 2000, and in the 1999/00 season, he was the top scorer of FIBA EuroLeague with an average of 20.2 points per game. During his career, he was named the MVP of the Slovenian national championship in 2000, won the Turkish and Austrian national championships, and participated in the Slovenian All-Star game four times. In the Slovenian men’s senior national team jersey, Goljović played in five official games, scoring a total of 46 points. After his playing career ended, he tried his hand as a coach for individual training and was briefly the director of Zlatorog Laško and sports director of Maribor’s AKK Branik.
