Lovro Gnjidić spent his entire basketball career with Zagreb’s Cibona before joining Cedevita Olimpija at the start of the 2022/23 season. He grew up playing in the youth categories of the Croatian capital’s club and began his professional career there in 2020.

In the 2023/24 season, Lovro played for Split and Mega, and before the start of the 2024/25 season, he returned to the Dragon family. His season was marked by health issues, which caused him to miss the start of the regular season, and in March 2025, he was loaned to Spanish club Palencia.

In the 2024/25 EuroCup season, wearing Cedevita Olimpija’s jersey, he played in three games, averaging 1.3 points and 0.7 assists per game. In the regional league, he appeared in nine games, averaging 1.3 points and 0.6 rebounds in 5.6 minutes per game. For Palencia in the 2024/25 season, he played in seven games in the Spanish second division, averaging 3.0 points and 2.6 rebounds per game.
