Filip Horvat is one of the young hopes of Cedevita Olimpija. In the 2023/24 competition season, he develops in Vrhnika, where it competes in senior competition in the 2nd SKL. In the 2021/22 season, he also took part in the adidas Next Generation tournament, which was held in Ljubljana, and he played in four matches. He averaged just under 20 minutes on the floor, scoring 8.2 points and 4.0 rebounds per game.
In his young career, he was part of two Cedevita Olimpija youth teams that played in the ABA Youth League. He averaged 4.2 points per game in five games in 2021/22 and 5.8 points per game in four games in 2022/23.
