Edo Murić started his basketball path in Parklji from Bežigrad, and he was a player on loan in the 2008/09 season, when he played for TCG Mercator. He said goodbye to the Bežigrad’s club in 2010, and went to Novo mesto, to Krka, where he played until 2014, and won four titles of the national champion, one title of the cup champion, and one title of the EuroChallenge champion in 2011. He also had his chance to play for the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA Summer League in 2014, and in September in the same year, he moved to Partizan NIS.

His career path led him to Turkey, where he played for Banvit in 2016/17 season, and then in 2017, he signed a deal with Anadolu Efes, which he let in December of the same year. He finished the 2017/18 season in Poland in Zielona Gora. He terminated the contract with the Polish club in 2018, and joined Cedevita Zagreb.

Murić is a member of the Slovenian national basketball team from the beginning of this decade. He played in three EuroBaskets (2011, 2013, 2017) and one World Championship (2014), and in 2017 he won the title of the European Champion with Slovenia.

Murić had a very good 2021/22 season, averaging 10.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.0 steals per game in the 7DAYS EuroCup, and 9.4 points and 4.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 0.9 steals per game in the regional league. In February 2022, Murić was chosen as the Most Valuable Player of the tournament at the Final Four tournament of the Spar Cup in Kodeljevo, where Cedevita Olimpija won its 21^st Cup title in independent Slovenia.

In the 2022/23 season, Edo Murić played in 31 games in the AdmiralBet ABA League and averaged 8.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 0.8 assists, and in 16 games in the 7DAYS EuroCup, he averaged 9.2 points and 4. 3 rebounds per game.

In Edo’s showcases we can find as many as seven titles of the Slovenian national champion, the last three, in the seasons 2022/23, 2021/22 and 2020/21 he won with Cedevita Olimpija. In the Dragons’ jersey, Murić also won three Slovenian Super Cup titles and two Spar Cup title.
