Danilo Tasić began his professional sports career in Niš before moving to Bucharest. He has also played for teams such as AEK, Stal, Voluntari, Pitești, Levski Sofia, SC Derby, Borac Mozzart, and FMP. Over the course of his career, he has won the Bulgarian and Cypriot national championships, and in 2021 he was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Bulgarian national championship and its finals series.

Since 2021, Tasić has been part of the ABA League, playing for FMP, SC Derby, and Borac. He started the 2024/25 season with FMP. This season, Tasić also competed in the Basketball Champions League with FMP, appearing in six games, averaging 28.6 minutes on the court, 13.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game.
