Cedevita Olimpija squad has presented itself for the first time in this preseason period to the home public and prevailed over the EuroLeague side Panthinaikos of Athens with the final score of 90:78.
Cedevita Olimpija successfully continues with the preseason period ahead of the 2023/24 season. In Stožice, the Dragons have celebrated their third win of the season, as they have made a major comeback in the second half to grab a decisive advantage.
The visiting side of Athens has been the one to open the clash more successfully, going up by 4 points after the opening quarter and by 5 by the big break. The Dragons turned the tide of the game around in the third, when they got in front by 2 points ahead of the final period and afterwards turned the game completely in their favour in the opening minutes of the last quarter, when they have created themselves a double-digit lead. In the end, the Ljubljana side have prevailed 90:78.
Karlo Matković shined for Cedevita Olimpija with 17 points and 8 rebounds on his record. Amadou Sow followed with 15 points and 7 rebounds, while Rok Radović scored 12 points.
