Cedevita Olimpija has successfully finished its preseason period ahead of the 2023/24 season. The Dragons have beaten United Eagles Basketball Cividale with the score of 89:74 in their last preseason game.
Reinforced with Slovenian internationals Jaka Blažič and Gregor Glas, the players of Cedevita Olimpija have written down another win in the preseason, having won 5 out of 6 games this summer. The squad, led from the bench by Simone Pianigiani have prevailed over United Eagles Basketball Cividale with the score of 89:74 and are therefore heading to the ABA Super Cup in Podgorica in a good mood.
Cedevita Olimpija has entered the game in a better fashion than its opponents, but the Italian competitors have afterwards taken advantage of the slowing down of the pace in their game, and the squads have remained close until the big break. That’s when the Dragons have pumped up the gear, played better, and put things where they should be. Sean Armand has been the best individual of the green and orange squad with 23 points on his record, Amadou Sow had 19, while Jaka Blažič added 12.
The Ljubljana side will open the 2023/24 season on Monday, 12.00, when it will face Igokea m:tel in the Quarterfinals of the ABA Super Cup in Morača Sports Hall in Podgorica.
