Cedevita Olimpija senior squad celebrated the second win in this preseason period in three games played so far. The Dragons of Ljubljana beat German side Mitteldeutscher 112:76 in Stožice.
The return to Stožice court has been successful for the Cedevita Olimpija squad on Tuesday evening. In the third game of the preseason period, the squad, led from the bench by the Italian tactician Simone Pianigiani, has prevailed over Mitteldeutscher with the final score of 112:76.
The reigning Slovenian champions have determinedly entered the court, took a quick lead, but the German side has been back in the game even before the end of the first quarter. In the remainder, the Green and Orange squad has raised the tempo and resolved the question of winner before the start of the final quarter, which they have entered with a 26-point lead (84:58).
For Cedevita Olimpija, Rok Radović led the way in scoring with 22 points on his record. Amadou Sow had 20, Karlo Matković 15, Luka Ščuka 14, and Shawn Jones 12.
On Thursday, 17.30, Cedevita Olimpija will present itself to the fans for the first time, as stožice will host the spectacle against Panathinaikos. The clash against EuroLeague powerhouse Panathinaikos will be broadcast live on Šport TV 1, and despite everything we call on the sporting fans to watch the game live in Stožice Arena, since the whole revenue of the ticket sales will be devoted for the victims of the floodings, that have taken place in Slovenia in the previous weeks.
