The head coach of Cedevita Olimpija’s senior team, Zvezdan Mitrović, will not be able to lead his team on Saturday in Zagreb, as the regional league’s disciplinary judge has issued him a one-game suspension.
Mitrović received his first technical foul of the season during the first half of Sunday’s Round 11 regular-season game of the AdmiralBet ABA League against Spartak. In the second half, he received a second technical foul, resulting in his ejection from the game. Due to the disciplinary sanctions imposed by the league’s disciplinary judge based on the referee’s report from the Spartak game, Mitrović will miss Saturday’s match against Cibona in Zagreb.
The team will be led from the bench by assistant coach Đorđe Adžić.
