STATEMENTS AHEAD OF THE GAME:

Jurica Golemac, head coach of Cedevita Olimpija:
“The Super Cup is the first official match of the season. Certainly this duel will not be a realistic indicator of the condition of both teams, but in a way a good preparatory match for both teams. After all, this is a fight for the first laurels of the season, so we will definitely both do our best. Our situation is not ideal at the moment, however, we will do everything to keep the Super Cup in Ljubljana.”

Jaka Blažič, captain of Cedevita Olimpija:
“The start of the season and the first official match are ahead of us. Both teams are currently not in the state they both would like, and in which they will be in a few months. It’s played for the first laurels of the season, but it’s the first serious test to both see where we are. I promise a serious approach and a game to win. We are looking forward to the match. I hope that a lot of fans will gather in the Tivoli Hall and that they will enjoy a good basketball show.”
