The players of Cedevita Olimpija will not step on the floor in Wednesday’s postponed match of the Round 14 of the ABA League with Krka in Novo mesto. Additional tests for COVID-19 showed new positive cases in the Ljubljana’s team, and the Slovenian derby of the regional competition has been postponed.

After returning from France on Thursday, where Cedevita Olimpija faced JL Bourg in the fourth round of the second part of the 7DAYS EuroCup on Wednesday, and discovering a positive case in the team, the entire team, with the exception of a player with COVID-19, conducted new testing on Monday. Additional positive cases were detected, and all in which the test showed a positive result were immediately sent to self-isolation according to all epidemiological protocols. Their health condition is monitored by the medical staff of KK Cedevita Olimpija.

The showdown of the 14th round of the ABA League against Novo mesto’s Krka, which should take place on Wednesday at 18.45 in Novo mesto’s Leon Štukelj Sports Hall, has therefore been postponed. The new date of the match will be announced by the ABA League management as soon as possible.

KK Cedevita Olimpija will inform the public about all further activities of the member team.
