Cedevita Olimpija squad has, without some important players, prevailed over ECE Triglav Kranj with the score of 93:80 in Stožice Arena in the Game 2 of the Spar Cup Quarterfinals and earned a spot at the Final Four Tournament, that will take place in Kodeljevo, Ljubljana.
The senior squad of Cedevita Olimpija has earned itself a spot at the Final Four Tournament of the Spar Cup with a convincing win over ECE Triglav Kranj. The scoreboard in the Stožice Arena at the end was showing the score of 93:80 in favour of the squad, led from the bench by head coach Zoran Martić. The green and orange squad played without Alen Omić, Shawn Jones, DJ Stewart, Jaka Klobučar and Vukašin Todorović.
Jones will, after an ankle injury, that he suffered at the game against FMP Soccerbet, ready for the action at the Spar Cup Final Tournament. Unfortunately, Stewart will be absent for a longer period of time and will miss the Cup action. Klobučar and Todorović are still in a phase of rehabilitation after the finger and ankle injury. Alen Omić did not have a right to play at the game due to the regulations of the competition, but will be ready for the Tournament.
The Final Four Tournament will take place in the Kodeljevo Sports Hall. On Thursday, 15 February, both Semi-final games will take place, while on Friday, 16 February on 20.30, the Final of the Slovenian Cup will take place. In the Semi-finals, Cedevita Olimpija will face Kansai Helios. In the first game, Rogaška will face Krka at 17.30.
