Showdown with Mega in Tivoli Sports Hall

The players of the senior team of Cedevita Olimpija will host Mega MIS on Saturday at 19:00 in Tivoli Hall for the ninth round of the regular season of the AdmiralBet ABA League, aiming to break their recent losing streak. The teams will meet for the first time since their quarter-final series last season. Tickets for the game are available at vstopnice.olimpija.com, and entry is free for children up to 15 years old.

Cedevita Olimpija faces its last challenge before the competitive break brought on by national team commitments. On Saturday at 19:00, the Dragons will take the court in the Temple of Slovenian Basketball, the legendary Tivoli Hall, where they will host Mega MIS in the ninth round of the regular season of the AdmiralBet ABA League. This will be their first encounter since the regional league quarter-finals last season, where the Belgrade team eliminated the Ljubljana side after two games.

A decision on whether head coach Zvezdan Mitrović will lead the team from the bench on Saturday will be made on the day of the game. Brynton Lemar continues to recover from a foot injury and will rejoin team practices during the competitive break.

Tickets for the game are available at vstopnice.olimpija.com, Eventim Slovenia, and the Petrol Ticket online platform. They can also be purchased at all Petrol service stations throughout Slovenia.

The box office and arena doors will open at 18:00. The NLB ‘Fast Entry’ will be open again, allowing visitors who present an NLB bank card upon entry quicker access to Tivoli Hall.

In line with the Green Five project, all fans are encouraged to come to the game on foot, by bicycle, scooter, or public transport. Anyone with a ticket can travel for free on Ljubljana Public Transport buses three hours before and three hours after the game.

SATURDAY BASKETBALL, SUNDAY HOCKEY:

A sports celebration awaits us in Tivoli on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday at 19:00, the basketball team of Cedevita Olimpija will face Mega MIS in the ninth round of the regional league, and on Sunday at 18:00, the hockey team of Olimpija will host EC-KAC.

Holders of season or individual tickets for both Dragon teams can watch the basketball or hockey game with a special 30% discount when purchasing a ticket for the other match. Therefore, if you have a Cedevita Olimpija season ticket or an individual ticket for the game against Mega MIS, you can get a 30% discount on the hockey game ticket between Olimpija and KAC, and vice versa.

Recently, the senior team of Cedevita Olimpija has found itself in a results crisis. The Dragons last won in the fifth round of the BKT EuroCup in Thessaloniki, followed by six consecutive defeats, the most recent on Tuesday against the leading team of Group B in the EuroCup, Valencia. Despite this, the view of the standings is encouraging, as the Ljubljana team heads into the break with four wins and four losses, placing them among the teams still vying for playoff spots.
