Rok Radović Extends Loyalty to Cedevita Olimpija

Cedevita Olimpija continues to shape its senior team for the 2025/26 competitive season. The Ljubljana club has secured Rok Radović with a two-year contract, retaining a long-time member of the Cedevita basketball family. Rok, who began his journey in Zagreb a decade ago, played his first official match for Cedevita Olimpija in the Dragons’ jersey in 2020. Upon signing the contract extension, we invited Rok for a chat on Cedevita Olimpija TV. He promptly accepted the invitation, arriving at Stožice straight from a summer beach vacation.

A decade ago, Rok moved from Domžale to Zagreb, where he joined Cedevita. When asked what advice he would give to his younger self as an experienced player today, he replied:

“Without a doubt, I’d tell him to stay persistent, patient, and fight for his goals.”

The 2024/25 season concluded just over two weeks ago, and Rok has already taken time to unwind.

“I spent a week by the sea with friends, family, my girlfriend, and my cat. Right now, I’m trying to switch off from basketball since I’m on vacation. I don’t yet miss training or games—there’ll be plenty of time for that,” he said with a smile.

Rok has a special goal for the summer of 2025, tied to the Slovenian national team:

“I want to earn a spot on the senior national team for the upcoming EuroBasket.”

How is he currently spending his days?

“My days are relaxed and varied. Without basketball obligations, I approach each day without strict plans, which is refreshing.”

To conclude, Rok sent a heartfelt message to Cedevita Olimpija’s fans:

“I hope the fans will continue to support us in the new season. Last season showed we can achieve great things, both in Europe and the ABA League. We look forward to their support, as the fans are our sixth player. That was felt at every game when the arena was full.”
