Cedevita Olimpija squad has played its second game in two days, and has beaten Zlatorog in the first game of the Spar Cup Quarter-finals. The second leg will be played on 15. February in Ljubljana.

Cedevita Olimpija has successfully passed the test of playing two games almost within 24 hours. After Sunday’s win in the 14th round of the regional competition, the squad, led by the bench by Jurica Golemac, has prevailed over Zlatorog Laško 86:62 in the first game of the Spar Cup Quarter-finals.

The squad of Ljubljana have gone off to an easy start and the hosts have resisted well. The visiting side has woken up in the second quarter and then went on to increase their lead step by step and celebrated the big win in the end, for a comfortable lead ahead of the second leg game in Stožice. It will be played on Tuesday, 15 February.

The next test awaits the Dragons on Saturday, when Borac of Čačak is coming to Stožice Arena in the 15th round of the regional competition.
