Cedevita Olimpija squad has grabbed the 11th win of the regional competition by beating SPlit in the finish of the game. In the end, they have prevailed 76:72.
The Dragons have crowned the strainous rhythm of the past few days with another win. After beating Ulm on Tuesday, they have celebrated a new triumph in Split as well.
It has been a close game throughout the 40 minutes of play and perhaps the crucial point was with 40 seconds remaining on the clock and Cedevita Olimpija up by 2 points, when Yogi Ferrell scored the three-pointer to put his team up by 5 points (74:79). Split never managed to get close enough until the end after that, to threaten the lead of the visiting side.
Edo Murić has been the most efficient in scoring this time, putting in 17 points and 9 rebounds. Captain Jaka Blažič has added 14 points and 6 rebounds, while Yogi Ferrell and Zoran Dragić have added 11 apiece.
The next test is coming up for the Dragons on Monday, 18.00, when they will face Zlatorog Laško in Spar Cup Quarter-finals.
