Cedevita Olimpija have suffered a defeat in Morača after a bitter fight against Budućnost VOLI. The hosts celebrated a 80:74 win in the end.
Even though Cedevita Olimpija arrived to Podgorica without several important players, such as Zoran Dragić, Karlo Matković, Lovro Gnjidić and Jan Kosi, they were fighting for the win all until the end of the game.
It has been a game of many ups and downs in which Budućnost VOLI pulled away on several occasions, but each time, the Dragons managed to find their way back into the clash for the win and it remained so all until the thrilling finish, in which the hosts have eventually prevailed with the final scroe of 80:74.
For Cedevita Olimpija, Josh Adams was the top scorer with 20 points. Yogi Ferrell added 17, Alen Omić 14 and Amar Alibegović 13.
The next test is coming up for the green and orange squad on Wednesday, when they will face Joventut of Badalona at home court in Ljubljana in the 7DAYS EuroCup.
