In the second game of the Semifinal series of the Nova KBM League, Cedevita Olimpija has prevailed over GGD Šenčur for the second time in two games and prevailed with the 2:0 in the series, thus qualifying fort he Finals.
The senior squad of Cedevita Olimpija has prevailed over GGD Šenčur on Sunday in Tivoli Sports Hall with the score of 103:76 in the second game of the Semifinal series of the domestic championship and eliminated the Gorenjska squad from the trophy race with a 2:0 score in victories. The Ljubljana side will face the winners of the Semifinal pair between Krka and Kansai Helios in the best of five series in the Finals. The two squads will have a crucial battle for the Finals on Tuesday, 20:00 in the Novo mesto Leon Štukelj Sports Hall in the decisive Game 3.
Cedevita Olimpija will in the Finals chase the third trophy of the 2023/24 season, the fourth straight domestic championship trophy and tenth consecutive trophy in the competitions under the umbrella of the Slovenian Basketball Federation.

It has been a one-way traffic all along since the beginning of the game, as the Dragons have demonstrated their power, rolling over their opponents to the second game of the series. After the opening 10 minutes of the game, the hosts were up by 14 points (24:10) and by halftime already by 21 (53:32). In the remainder of the game, the squad, led from the bench by head coach Zoran Martić continued to cruise calmly towards the win in the end.
