Only a day following the home thriller in the regional league against Partizan NIS, young Cedevita Olimpija squad stepped on court of the Domžale Sports Hall and beaten Helios Suns 75:64 in the second round game of the Nova KBM League Top Six.
The young guns of Cedevita Olimpija has ended the streak of two consecutive defeats in the second part of the domestic championship. The team, led from the bench by head coach Miro Alilović, has beaten Helios Suns 75:64 and celebrated second win of this part of the season in the domestic competition.
The Ljubljana squad entered the game determinedly, and kept controlling the flow of the game in the Domžale Sports Hall. A bit before the end of the second quarter, the score on the scoreboard was 39:24 in favour of the green and orange team, and the Ljubljana squad did not lose focus when the hosts got a bit closer in the third quarter. The Dragons responded fiercely, and with the scored three-point shot by Marko Radovanović, they took a 68:52 lead, which has been enough for calm ending and convincing win.
In the green and orange squad, Luka Ščuka was atop of the list of scorers this time, with 15 points on his record, while Dan Duščak, Marko Radovanović and Blaž Habot added 12.
