Defeat of the young team in Šenčur 

In the sixth round of the Nova KBM League for the Champion, the rejuvenated senior team of Cedevita Olimpija lost on Thursday in Šenčur near Kranj against the home team of Šenčur with the score 63:100.

After five games played in the Nova KBM League, the senior team of Cedevita Olimpija has two victories and three defeats on its account. On Tuesday, the Dragons presented themselves with practically all the main players in a home match against Terme Olimie Podčetrtek, and on Thursday the Ljubljana club in Šenčur near Kranj played with the younger version of the senior team, and suffered a defeat with the score of 63:100.

The question of who the winner is going to be, was answered after the first 20 minutes of the game. The home team had a 28 point lead (56:28), and even though the young Dragons, led by assistant coach Teo Čizmić, fought until the very end, they never managed to turn the game around. In the end, the score was 100:63 for the home team.

Rok Radović led the scoring for Dragons with 17 points along with seven rebounds. Dan Duščak collected 13 points, six assists, and five rebounds in an all-around performance. Luka Ščuka finished the game with eight points and six rebounds, Robert Jurković scored a point less.

On Saturday, Cedevita Olimpija will face Zadar in an extremely important match of Round 22 of the ABA League in Stožice Arena. The Dragons are still fighting for a place in the playoffs of the regional competition, and it will be possible to watch the match at Arena Sport 1.
