The players of the senior squad of Cedevita Olimpija have prevailed over Kansai Helios in the Game 3 of the Slovenian National Championship with the final score of 91:78 and won their fourth consecutive and 21st domestic championship trophy in club’s history.
Cedevita Olimpija senior squad has grabbed its fourth consecutive and 21st domestic championship trophy in the club’s history. The team, that is led from the bench by head coach Zoran Martić, has prevailed over Kansai Helios Domžale with the final score of 91:78, beating the Domžače squad for the third time in three games.
Alen Omić became the MVP of the Finals, as he has scored 20 points, while adding 11 rebounds, 6 assists and a valuation of 32 in the Game 3 and has been averaging 16.3 points, 10 rebounds and a valuation of 26.7 in the Finals.
The club of Ljubljana has for the 12th time in the entire club’s history finished the Finals after 3 games. For the third time in a row, the Dragons have beaten the Domžale squad in the Final and the third time in history with the score of 3:0 in the series.
For the Dragons, this is the third trophy in the 2023/24 season under the umbrella of the Slovenian Basketball Federation and in total the tenth consecutive domestic trophy. For the third season in a row, Cedevita Olimpija has won Slovenian Super Cup, Spar Cup and Nova KBM League trophies in a single season.
