In the first game of the Semi-finals of the Nova KBM League, Cedevita Olimpija has prevailed over Rogaška at home in Tivoli Sports Hall in Ljubljana with the final score of 93:80.
The Dragons have successfully started their Semi-final series of the Nova KBM League and continue their unbeaten run in the Playoffs of the domestic championship. In the first game of the Semi-finals against Rogaška, they have been in front throughout the majority of the game and in the end emerged victorious with the final score of 93:80.
The Dragons have been up by 7 points already after the opening quarter and by the halftime, Rogaška managed to stay in touch with the hosts, that were in front with the score of 48:42 at the departure to the big break.
However, as the two sides have stepped on the court again in the second half, it has been Cedevita Olimpija that has been dictating the tempo of the game and the squad, led from the bench by head coach Jurica Golemac went up by 15 points after 30 minutes (72:57). In the remainder of the game, they have calmly cruised to the win and celebrated in the end.
For Cedevita Olimpija Melvin Ejim was the most efficient in scoring this time around with 22 points on his record, while Zach Auguste followed him with 13.
The next game is coming up for the Dragons on Monday, when they will be hosting Crvena zvezda mts in the Game 2 of the regional league Semi-finals at home in Stožice. The game is scheduled to begin at 18.30.
