In the third game of the Nova KBM League Finals, Cedevita Olimpija has prevailed over Helios Suns and swept the Final series. This way the Dragons have claimed their 19th Slovenian national championship glory in club’s history.
The Dragons have determinedly begun the what turned out to be the decisive third game of the Final series of the Nova KBM League and opened it with a 10:0 run. They did not slow down in the remainder of the clash, as the squad, led from the bench by head coach Jurica Golemac was up by 14 points at the end of the first quarter (13:27) and extended its advantage to 20 points by halftime (36:56). In the second half, the back to back champions calmly cruised to the final win with the score of 81:191
For Cedevita Olimpija, Yogi Ferrell led the way in scoring with 20 points, while Zoran Dragić added 18.
Alen Omić has been named the MVP of the Final Series.
