Cedevita Olimpija senior squad has suffered a defeat by Hapoel of Jerusalem on Wednesday in the Round 6 of the BKT EuroCup in Stožice Arena (83:94).
Cedevita Olimpija has suffered second defeat of the European season in the Round 6 of the BKT EuroCup. Hapoel Jerusalem squad has been better than the Dragons with the final score of 83:94. The reigning Slovenian champions could have set their best ever score in the EuroCup after six rounds ever since they have been competing in the second-tier European club competition, but did not manage to do so this time.
The Ljubljana squad will be looking for a chance to get back on the winning track in Belgrade on Monday, when they will play on the road against Crvena zvezda Meridianbet and the next European test awaits them in a week, when they will face JL Bourg, the finalist of the last season of the European competition.

After a good start and a tied first quarter, the visiting side from Israel has pulled away in the second quarter and created themselves a 20-point advantage in the third quarter. Despite the fact, that the Ljubljana side has been fighting all until the end, the margin did not melt and Stožice Arena has witnessed the first home defeat by Cedevita Olimpija this season in the BKT EuroCup.
For Cedevita Olimpija, Jaka Blažič led the way in scoring with 15 points on his record. Gregor Glas added 13, Devin Robinson and DeVante Jones 12 apiece, while Joan Beringer scored 10.
