In the Round 5 of the BKT EuroCup, Cedevita Olimpija has prevailed over Aris on the road in Thessaloniki after a major second half comeback.
Cedevita Olimpija keep shining on the European courts! The Dragons of Ljubljana have pulled off a major comeback in the second half of the game in Thessaloniki to show off Aris, after being down by 11 points at halftime. The final score of the game was 82:75 in the favour of the Dragons.
This way, Cedevita Olimpija have found themselves in the second place in the standings in Group B in the BKT EuroCup with a record of 4:1.
The next game is coming up for the green and orange squad already on Sunday, when they will be facing Budućnost VOLI in the AdmiralBet ABA League at home in Stožice Arena!
GAME REPORT:
The hosts have been the better of two squads in the opening half, having gone to off for the big break with an 11-point advantage (48:37). It has been the same midway through the third quarter, when Aris has been up 53:43, but afterwards their lead started to melt. After 4 quarters it amounted to 7 points (61:54), while Dragons have taken command of the court completely in the fourth quarter and secured a valuable win in the end.
Jaka Blažič has been the top scorer of Cedevita Olimpija this time around with 19 points on his record. Devin Robinson added 18, DJ Stewart 15 and Rok Radović 10.
