In the Round 1 of the AdmiralBet ABA League Quarterfinals, Cedevita Olimpija has fallen short by a point against Dubai Basketball on the road in Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai.
Cedevita Olimpija are one win down in the Quarterfinal series of the AdmiralBet ABA League, as they have been defeated in Game 1 on the road in Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai by Dubai Basketball, that haven’t suffered a defeat in the AdmiralBet ABA League for 14 games. The squad, led from the bench by head coach Zvezdan Mitrović have been close, but not close enough to make a break in the series in Game 1.
The second game of the series is coming up on Friday when the Dragons will be hosting Dubai Basketball at home in Stožice Arena. Even before that, the Dragons will play the Game 2 of the Slovenian National Championship on Tuesday, when they will be hosting GGD Šenčur and try to book their ticket for the Semifinals in two games.

In a close encounter throughout the entire 40 minutes of play, it all came down to the final ball possession. Dubai Basketball were up by a point, 16 seconds remained on the game clock and Cedevita Olimpija had the ball. DJ Stewart fired an uncontested shot from mid-range, but his game-winning shot attempt missed the target and the hosts celebrated.
For Cedevita Olimpija, Danilo Tasić led the way in scoring this time, as he scored 17 points, while Brynton Lemar contributed 15.
