In the first game of the Semifinal series of the AdmiralBet ABA League against Partizan Mozzart Bet, Cedevita Olimpija squad has been deeated in Štark Arena in Belgrade with the score of 85:70. The Belgrade squad took the lead in the series and the Dragons will try to force the decisive Game 3 on Tuesday, 18.00, when the two squads meet again in Stožice.
Cedevita Olimpija failed to grab a win in Game 1 of the Semifinals of the AdmiralBet ABA League on the road in Štark Arena in Belgrade. In the first game of the Semifinal series, the squad, led from the bench by head coach Miro Alilović, has been defeated with the final score of 85:70 and they will try to force Game 3 on Tuesday, 18.00 in Stožice Arena, where the second game of the series takes place. The winner of these Semifinal series will meet the reigning champions Crvena zvezda Meridianbet in the Finals.
Partizan Mozzart Bet have done the majority of their job as early as the first quarter, when they have limited the scoring performance of the Ljubljana squad to only 8 points, thus taking a 10-point lead after the opening quarter (18:8). As it turned out later in the game, the visiting side did not manage to recover after this opening blow again at the later stages of the game and the black and white prevailed with the final score of 85:70.
For Cedevita Olimpija, Yogi Ferrell led the way in scoring with 13 points scored, while Karlo Matković added 12.
