It have been the Dragons, that have started the game in a more successful fashion this time, as they won the opening quarter 26:19. However, this did not stop Budućnost VOLI, that responded with a monstruous performance in the second quarter (15:27) and continued to grind in the third. With 6 minutes left in the third quarter, Budućnost VOLI have been up by 11 points (50:56) and Cedevita Olimpija simply could not find a way to bounce back afterwards again and return into the battle for the win anymore.
