On Saturday night, Cedevita Olimpija met with Krka on the road in Leon Štukelj Sports Hall in Novo mesto and ended the Regular Season of the AdmiralBet ABA League victoriously.
Cedevita Olimpija have ended their Regular Season campaign in the AdmiralBet ABA League with a road win in Novo mesto, as they have prevailed over Krka 91:87 after a comeback in the second half.
The Dragons have ended the Regular Season with a 19:11 record, in the sixth place in the standings and will take on Dubai Basketball in the Quarterfinals of the regional competition in the best of three series, that start with the game in Dubai.
The next game is coming up on Tuesday, when Cedevita Olimpija will be facing GGD Šenčur on the road in Šenčur in the Quarterfinals of the OTP Banka League.
GAME REPORT:
Krka have started the game in a better fashion and were up by 7 points after the first quarter (19:12), but they never really managed to pull away. By halftime the visiting side has cut the gap to only 2 points (40:38). And in the final quarter they eventually turned the game completely upside-down with a 12:0 run between 32nd and 34th minute of the game, that turned Krka’s 71:65 lead into a 71:77 lead for the Dragons. As it turned out, Krka did not manage to fight back and turn the game upside-down again until the end and these were the key moments of the clash.
For Cedevita Olimpija, Devin Robinson led the way in scoring this time with 19 points on his record, while Brynton Lemar added 18.
