In the 25th round of the AdmiralBet ABA League Regular Season, Cedevita Olimpija suffered a defeat against Mornar-Barsko zlato on the road in Topolica Sports Hall in Bar.
Cedevtia Olimpija are now on a 16:8 record and they have lost their chances of finishing in the 3rd place in the standings. They will end the Regular season 4th and will face FMP Soccerbet in the Quarter-finals.
It has been a game of several ups and downs, where both teams have exchanged the lead several times. However, it hasn’t been over until the final seconds. With 20 seconds to go in the game, Cedevita Olimpija were still in front by a point, but that’s when Mornar-Barsko zlato youngster Balša Živanović stepped up and scored a crucial three-pointer for the hosts for the score of 77:75 with 17 seconds left. Cedevita Olimpija had one last chance to turn the game around on the other end, but Josh Adams was inaccurate with his last attempt and the home side prevailed in the end with the final score of 78:75.
For Cedevita Olimpija, Josh Adams led the way in scoring with 24 points on his record, while Matic Rebec and Alen Omić scored 12 apiece.
