Cedevita Olimpija returns from Split with their heads down, as it has suffered a defeat in the 16th round of the AdmiralBet ABA League Regular Season (93:85).
Cedevita Olimpija squad suffered a defeat in the Round 16 of the AdmiralBet ABA League on the road against Split (93:85). For the Ljubljana side, this is the fifth lost game in this regional season, but nevertheless they remain close to the very top of the standings.
The Slovenian champions will be back on the court of the Stožice Arena next week, when they will be hosting Umana Reyer Venice on Wednesday, 19:30, while they will face Igokea m:tel afterwards on Saturday.

GAME REPORT:
Split have been in front for the majority of the clash. They were ahead by 5 points after the opening quarter and by 8 at halftime. By the 28th minute, the Dragons fought back and tied the game at 63:63, but then allowed the hosts to pull away again with a 18:2 run, which put them up by 16 points (81:65) in the 33rd minute. The visiting side tried their best to fight their way back into the game, but it was too little, too late.
