Dragons defeated by Crvena zvezda Meridianbet in Belgrade

In the 16th round of the AdmiralBet ABA League, Cedevita Olimpija has suffered a road defeat in Belgrade against Crvena zvezda Meridianbet with the final score of 100:95.

Jurica Golemac’s squad has suffered a road defeat in the 16th round of the AdmiralBet ABA League and it has been the EuroLeague squad Crvena zvezda Meridianbet, that have knocked the Dragons down in the first encounter of these two squads this season.

After a close game in first half, Crvena zvezda Meridianbet pulled away by six points with the half-court halftime buzzer-beater and then continued to roll in the third quarter, when they have made their advantage double-digit. The Ljubljana side did not manage to turn the game completely upside-down in the remainder of the game, even though they did force the dramatic ending and the reigning AdmiralBet ABA League champions have prevailed with the final score of 100:95.

For Cedevita Olimpija, Yogi Ferrell led the way in scoring with 24 points, while Josh Adams and Marko Jeremić scored 16 each.

The next game is coming up for Cedevita Olimpija on Wednesday, when they will face Joventut on the road in Badalona in the 7DAYS EuroCup.
