Preseason game against Trieste cancelled due to team’s injury situation

Due to the current injury situation within the first team, Cedevita Olimpija has cancelled the scheduled preseason game against Pallacanestro Trieste in Gorizia.

Cedevita Olimpija’s first team is dealing with several injury concerns at the start of the new competitive season. As a result, the scheduled preseason game against Pallacanestro Trieste in Gorizia has been cancelled. We would like to thank the Italian club for its understanding.

Jordan Gainey will remain sidelined for at least another 14 days. We will continue to monitor the recovery of Noah Kirkwood, Brandon Murray, Matthew Hurt and David Škara, gradually reintegrating them into team practices based on their medical condition.

Osayi Osifo was also injured during the Slovenian Super Cup game against Krka. More information regarding the nature and severity of his injury will be available following further medical examinations.
