Victory at the start of the Playoffs

In the first game of the AdmiralBet ABA League Quarterfinals, Cedevita Olimpija has recorded a win with the final score of 87:77. The second game is coming up next Saturday in Železnik.

In the opening game of the Quarterfinal series between Cedevita Olimpija and FMP Soccerbet, the Dragons have used their home court advantage in order to make the first step towards the Semifinals. This way, Cedevita Olimpija are now only one win away from securing their top four spot.

It has remained a close game all until the final minute of the third quarter, when the score was 59:56 in favour of the hosts. However, that’s when they went on a 17:10 run that spanned over the next 5 minutes and with a bit less than 6 minutes to go, Cedevita Olimpija held a 10-point lead in their hands (76:66). As it turned out later in the game, the margin was simply too big at that point for the Panthers to turn the game upside-down.

For the Dragons, Yogi Ferrell led the way in scoring with 20 points on his record, while he has been followed by Alen Omić, who had 15 points.
