Cedevita Olimpija suffered a defeat against Igokea m:tel in the opening game of the 2023 ABA Super Cup.
The senior squad of Cedevita Olimpija suffered a defeat in the Quarterfinals of the ABA Super Cup in Podgorica against Igokea m:tel. The scoreboard in Morača has shown the final score of 75:65 in favour of the Laktaši side. Cedevita Olimpija will face the losing team of the clash between Partizan Mozzart Bet and Mega MIS on Tuesday, 12.00.
Igokea has taken the lead straight away at the start of the game and did not let go of it until the end of the clash, The Dragons have gotten close a couple of times during the third and fourth quarters, the last time at the start of the final period, when the score was 64:57, but Igosi have found the solution to each attempt of a comeback.
Karlo Matković, who scored 21 points has been the most efficient in the Dragons’ squad, and he added 12 rebounds to his stats. Jaka Blažič had 16 points and Justin Cobbs 9 points, 5 rebounds and just as many assists.
