Cedevita Olimpija travels to Podgorica, as the squad of the head coach Jurica Golemac is set to face SC Derby on Sunday at 19.00 in Round 25 of the regional league.
Only one game of Round 25 will be played this Sunday and that will be the clash between SC Derby and Cedevita Olimpija.
SC Derby are currently sitting at the 7th place, with slim chances of making the Playoffs, but at the same time they are placed far away from the relegation zone. When we take everything into concern, the Podgorica side can be very pleased with their debut season in the top-tier of the regional basketball. They still have 3 games to play in the 2021/22 campaign, including this one against Cedevita Olimpija, and SC Derby crew will certainly want to end their first ever season in AdmiralBet ABA League with couple of more wins.
On the other side, Cedevita Olimpija have already booked their place in the 2021/22 AdmiralBet ABA League Playoffs, while on top of that they are league’s best team when it comes to the current form. The Ljubljana squad are on a 6-game winning streak in the regional championship and they are now coming to Podgorica to try extending that amazing run.
