Hosting Zadar in Stožice

Cedevita Olimpija players are facing a new test in the ABA League. In the Round 22, they will face Zadar on the home floor of Arena Stožice on Saturday at 21.00, and it will be possible to watch a TV broadcast on Arena Sport 1.

Cedevita Olimpija enters the final part of the regular season of the ABA League. There are only seven more games ahead of the selected head coach Jurica Golemac, and on Saturday at 19.00 they will host Zadar on the home stage. It will be possible to watch the live television broadcast of the match with the Dalmatians on Arena Sport 1.

In the first match between the two teams, the game in the Krešimir Ćosić Hall was tense until the last moments. Cedevita Olimpija celebrated a close victory with 80:78, and success was ensured in the last 90 seconds of the match by Edo Murić with a triple and Kendrick Perry with three free throws. It was the American point guard who set the final result of the match, as the three-point shot by Kodi Justice did not find its way through the net. Jaka Blažič was the best scorer of the green-orange team with 23 points, while Justice scored 20 points.

While Cedevita Olimpija continues to fight for the ABA League’s playoffs, Zadar is currently in 12th place in the league table with six wins in 19 matches. A week ago, the team from Dalmatia had to concede victory to FMP on the home court (63:76), and the Dragons lost last Saturday away in Laktaši against Igokea (70:76).
