Home match with Igokea m:tel on Sunday

On Sunday at 19.00, the basketball players of Cedevita Olimpija will face Igokea m: tel in the 19th round of the regional league. The match with the team from Laktaši will be the last home test in the regional competition before the end of the cup competition and the break brought by the national team campaigns.

Cedevita Olimpija is entering the final phase of the second third of the 2021/22 competition season. Before the team of head coach Jurica Golemac, there are only two matches left in the regional competition before the break brought by the national team campaigns, one in the 7DAYS EuroCup and the final part of the Slovenian Cup competition.

On Sunday at 19.00, the Dragons will host Igokea m: tel in the 19th round of the regional league in Arena Stožice. It will be possible to watch the match live on Arena Sport 1 and TV Slovenija 2.

On Wednesday, the basketball players of the Ljubljana team managed to break a series of four consecutive defeats. In the European Cup, in the clash with the Turkish team Frutti Extra Bursaspor, they recorded a victory with 103: 86, and with 19 points, the top scorer was Yogi Ferrell.

In the regional competition, Igokea recorded nine wins in 17 matches and suffered eight defeats. The basketball players from Laktaši were last active on Thursday, when they hosted the FMP team on their home court, and the home team recorded a 73:61 victory. Four Igokea basketball players scored double-digit points, with James Arthur Robinson III and DeShawn Stephens scoring the most.

The teams have already competed once this competition season, at the end of October Cedevita Olimpija celebrated the victory in Laktaši with 101: 83. In the green-orange team, Melvin Ejim was the most efficient basketball player with 22 points and nine rebounds at the time, while in the home team, Stephen added 10 points and 12 rebounds.
