Cedevita Olimpija players will be playing in the 2020 Spar Cup Final again, after 2020. Jurica Golemac’s squad has beaten Krka 93:75 in Kodeljevo and secured itself the Final clash against Helios Suns.
Cedevita Olimpija will be battling for the Spar Cup trophy on Friday 20.30 in Kodeljevo Sports Hall in Ljubljana, after beating Krka 93:75 on Thursday and will be competing to bring home second trophy this season and the first Cup trophy for the Dragons after 2017.
The Ljubljana squad will be facing Helios Suns on 20.30 on Friday night in Kodeljevo.
The green and orange started the game against Novo mesto rivals quite motivated and did not want to allow any coincidence. After 10 minutes of the game they went up by 12 points (29:17) and they departed to the big break with an advantage of 15 points (57:42). After a fantastic dunk by captain Jaka Blažič, the scoreboard has been showing the score of +42 in favour of the Dragons, that have brought the game calmly to the close and celebrated a well-deserved Final spot in the cup competition.
Zoran Dragić was the top scorer this time with 18 points. Edo Murić contributed one point less and he put eight rebounds to his stats as well. Zach Auguste had a double double (11 points and 10 rebounds). The Dragons faced Krka without Melvin Ejim.
The Dragons will do their best to grab their 21st Slovenian National Cup trophy and the first after 2017. Helios Suns, that have lifted the cup in 2017 will be challenging them.
