The senior team of Cedevita Olimpija will continue their 2024/25 season on Sunday at 17:00. The Dragons will host Slovenian rivals Krka in the 15th round of the AdmiralBet ABA League regular season at Arena Stožice. Ljubljana’s team is still fighting for a playoff spot in the regional league. Following their defeat to Partizan Mozzart Bet last Monday in Belgrade, they are eager to bounce back and return to winning ways.

Basketball fans will have the chance to witness the eternal Slovenian basketball derby at Stožice. Krka arrives in Slovenia’s largest arena on the back of four consecutive defeats in the regional league. However, they share the top spot in the Slovenian national championship standings with Kansai Helios Domžale, each holding 11 wins and 2 losses.

FREE ENTRY FOR ALL:

Entry to the match against Krka will be free for all visitors. Season ticket holders for all home games of the 2024/25 season will have priority in choosing their seats. Arena doors will open at 16:00. The NLB ‘Fast Track Entrance’ will also be available, allowing quicker access to the arena for those presenting an NLB bank card.

As part of the “Green Five” project, all fans are encouraged to walk, bike, scooter, or use public transport to reach the game. To avoid potential crowds, it’s recommended to arrive early.

Krka competes in both the regional league and the Slovenian national championship. After losing the Supercup against Cedevita Olimpija and their Slovenian league opener, they went on to win 12 straight games in domestic competitions. Their most recent matches included a commanding 99:74 win over Kansai Helios Domžale in the Spar Cup and a narrow 85:95 loss in the Slovenian league.
