GAME REPORT:
It has been the very beginning of the game, that turned the tide home side’s way. Partizan Mozzart Bet scored no less than 42 points in the opening quarter alone, which is the best scoring performance by any team in the entire AdmiralBet ABA League history in the first quarter and the second-best for any quarter. They have created themselves 18 points of advantage in the first quarter, and went on to set the all-time AdmiralBet ABA League single half scoring record (70 points), which turned out to be too much for Cedevita Olimpija to be able to turn things upside-down in the remainder of the clash.
The Dragons did fight their way back into the battle for the win in the final quarter, however and when DJ Stewart scored a three-pointer with 34 seconds left in the game, the margin between the two sides was only 2 points (104:102). A free-throw finish followed in the remainder of the game, in which the hosts turned out to be more focused than the visiting side and they celebrated a deserved win in the end.
