We’ll face Joventut in Badalona on Wednesday

Cedevita Olimpija is back on the road in 7DAYS EuroCup as the Dragons look to face Joventut in Badalona on Round 12 of the regular season.

Joventut Badalona (7-4) will go for a sweep of last-place Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana (2-9) when the two clubs clash on Wednesday. Joventut, sitting in second place in Group A, had its highest-scoring game of the season when it beat Cedevita Olimpija 78-100 and a win in this one would keep it close to the top of the standings. Cedevita Olimpija is slowly running out of opportunities to catch up with the rest of the group and an upset in Badalona could go long way toward sparking a late-season charge.

The team consists of a mixture of young and experienced players, and very good foreign players have also been added to this. In the first match between us, our rivals beat us at home, so we will have to show a much better performance on Wednesday than we have been showing recently, if we want to take home the victory.”
