Tuesday’s showdown with Buducnost VOLI has been postponed again

The players of Cedevita Olimpija should face Buducnost VOLI in the Round 5 of the ABA League on Tuesday at 17.00 in the Tivoli Hall. Unfortunately, due to the growing number of COVID-19 cases in the Podgorica team, there will be no match.

The Cedevita Olimpija team will return to Ljubljana on Sunday after a week-long stay in Belgrade. Last week’s draw, the defeat against FMP on Wednesday and the win against Mega Soccerbet on Saturday, is a good roadmap before the season resumes. Next Saturday, the Dragons will face Krka in Novo mesto the Slovenian ABA League derby, after which the Ljubljana players will go to Bologna, where they will face Virtus Segafredo Bologna in the first round of the second part of the 7DAYS EuroCup.

The team of head coach Jurica Golemac should have stepped on the floor on Tuesday and competed against Budućnost VOLI in the Temple of Slovenian Basketball, but the duel with the team from Podgorica has been postponed again due to the growing number of positive cases in the ranks of Budućnost.
