Cedevita Olimpija squad has written down a tight defeat against Virtus Segafredo Bologna in the sixth round of the 7DAYS EuroCup. The visiting side has prevailed with the final score of 104:101.
The squad led by the head coach Jurica Golemac from the bench has been defeatred by Virtus Bologna. The Dragons have stayed in touch with the competitors until the final second and in the end they lacked a bit of luck. The final score was 104:101 in favour of the visiting side.
The game was tight until its very end. The guests had the highest advantage in the first quarter, when they were up by 13 points. The Ljubljana side has managed to depart to the big break with just a point-high deficit (53:54). In the second part of the game none of the teams have managed to grab themselves a bigger lead. The score was 82:82 after 30 minutes. Italians have pulled away slightly in the final minutes and the Dragons did not manage to catch them anymore. They lost 101:104.
Yogi Ferrelly had 20 points by halftime and in the end he finished with 24. He added 11 assists. By adding 18 points, Edo Murić and Alen Omić have demonstrated great performances.
The next game is awaiting the Dragons on Saturday, 19:00, when they will visit Partizan NIS in the 11th round of the regional competition.
