Cedevita Olimpija squad suffered a 71:85 defeat against Mega MIS in the Round 2 of the Quarterfinal series and ended their regional season.
Cedevita Olimpija has suffered a second defeat of the series against Mega MIS on Sunday night. The scoreboard in Stožice has been showing the score of 85:71 score in favour of the Belgrade side. The season in the regional competition is therefore over for the Dragons, after two straight seasons in which the Ljubljana squad has reached the Semi-finals.
Cedevita Olimpija has this way concluded its international season. In the BKT EuroCup the Dragons failed to reach the Playoffs, as they have ended the Regular Season with a single win in their hands. In the AdmiralBet ABA League, they have ended the Regular Season with 16 victories and 10 defeats and finished their Playoffs episode after two games against Mega MIS.
The Dragons will now face a couple of days of break from the competitions, as they need to wait for the end of the Regular Season in the Slovenian National Championship. The Dragons will join the latter in the Playoffs and will be chasing the fourth straight domestic championship trophy.
