Round of 16 in Stožice Against Beşiktaş!

Cedevita Olimpija’s senior squad will face Beşiktaş in the Round of 16 of the BKT EuroCup playoffs! The clash with the Turkish team will take place on Tuesday, March 4, or Wednesday, March 5, at Arena Stožice!

After three years, we will once again see Cedevita Olimpija in the EuroCup knockout stage. The Dragons secured their playoff spot with one game left in the regular season, finishing fourth in Group B with ten wins and eight losses. As a result, the Slovenian champions will have home-court advantage in the first round, welcoming Turkish side Beşiktaş to Stožice.

Beşiktaş finished the regular season in fifth place in Group A. The Turkish team is led by Serbian head coach Dušan Alimpijević and recorded ten wins and eight losses in the 2024/25 EuroCup regular season—just like Cedevita Olimpija.

A single game will decide who advances to the quarterfinals, with the first round of knockout matches taking place on March 4 and 5. The winner of the Round of 16 matchup between Cedevita Olimpija and Beşiktaş will face Bahçeşehir in the quarterfinals. The same one-game elimination format will apply in the quarterfinals, scheduled for Tuesday, March 11, and Wednesday, March 12.

The semifinals and finals will be played in a best-of-three series. The semifinal matchups will take place between March 25 and April 2, with a potential deciding Game 3. The final series will begin on April 8, with a possible third game set for April 16.
