Back to Stožice after a win in Zadar

Cedevita Olimpija has beaten Zadar and grabbed its sixth regional league win in a row. The squad, led by head coach Jurica Golemac, has beaten Zadar 92:77.

Cedevita Olimpija continues with a series of good results in the regional league. In the 23rd round of the Regular Season, the squad led by Jurica Golemac has beaten Zadar in the Krešimir Ćosić Arena with the score of 92:77 and got their revenge over the Dalmatians for the defeat at home in Stožice in the first part of the season.

Cedevita Olimpija have pulled away early in the game and created themselves a 9-point lead, but Zadar fought back and even took the lead midway through the third quarter. However, as Zadar were ahead 59:58 in the 27th minute, Cedevita Olimpija went on a 12:0 run with which they have concluded the third quarter with the advantage of 59:70. As it turned out later in the game, Zadar did not manage to fight their way back into the battle for the win.

For Cedevita Olimpija five players have achieved a double-digit number of points. Jacob Pullen (22) was followed by Jaka Blažić (19), Yogi Ferrell (16), Zach Auguste (14) and Edo Murić (10).
