In the second game of the Semifinal series of the Nova KBM League between Cedevita Olimpija and GGD Šenčur, the Ljubljana squad prevailed 91:70 on home cout in Tivoli Sports Hall and advanced to the Finals with a 2:0 score in the series.
Cedevita Olimpija have reached the Finals of the Nova KBM League. After sweeping the Quarter-final series against Šentjur, they have done the same against GGD Šenčur and will battle for the triple crown, as they have previously claimed both domestic Super Cup and Cup trophies.
It has been a game, in which the squad, led from the bench by head coach Miro Alilović has been in command of the court throughout the playing time. They have been up by 2 points after the first quarter (27:25), and by 5 by halftime (49:44). By the end of the third quarter, their lead amounted to 12 points (67:55) and in the remainder of the game, they calmly continued to cruise towards the win in the end with the final score of 91:70.
For Cedevita Olimpija, Marko Jeremić led the way in scoring with 22 points on his record, while Amar Alibegović added 20.
The Dragons are now waiting for their opponents in both Nova KBM League and AdmiralBet ABA League. In the Nova KBM Finals, they will face the winning side in the clash between Krka and Helios Suns, currently the Suns lead 1:0 in the best of three series.
