In the opening game of the Nova KBM League Semifinals, Cedevita Ollimpija has outgunned GGD Šenčur on the road with the final score of 72:64 and took the 1:0 lead in the series.

The Dragons are only a step away from advancing to the Finals of the Nova KBM League. They have edged out GGD Šenčur on the road in Šenčur and are in the 1:0 lead in the Semifinals. They only need one more win to confirm their ticket for the Finals, in which they would face either Helios Suns or Krka. The second game of the Semifinal series between Cedevita Olimpija and GGD Šenčur is coming up on Sunday, 21 May in Tivoli Sports Hall in Ljubljana. The game begins at 19.30.

The game has been a close one for approximately 15 minutes and has been tied for the last time at the score of 26:26, after which Cedevita Olimpija went on a 10:0 run within the next 2 minutes of the game, taking a double-digit lead at the score of 36:26. As it turned out, the hosts simply lacked the strength to fight back in the remainder of the game and Cedevita Olimpija cruised to the win with the final score of 72:64.

For the Ljubljana side Matic Rebec, Zoran Dragić and Marko Jeremić led the way in scoring with 12 points apiece, while Amar Alibegović added 11.
